Thanks to Science, I Can Now Hide From My Microwave

 microwave.JPG
You’ll never get me now you bastard!

I should really be working right now but I couldn’t pass this one up.  From Yahoo News, scientist have created a device which is able to bend certain wavelengths of light, in particular microwaves.  The waves hit the cloak and are swept around it such that someone standing on the other side would see the original microwave source rather than a microwave reflected by the cloak.

As a step towards one day actually being able to own an invisibility cloak, this is exciting.  As a means of hiding from my vicious microwave, which overheats my food, makes my bread soggy and no doubt plots my demise, This is nothing short of a miracle.
