Defenders of the Free World

Came across this story and wanted to share it.

During these last twenty-four hours I have been handcuffed and chained, denied the chance to sleep, been without food and drink and been confined to a place without anyone knowing my whereabouts, imprisoned.

Are these the words of a terrorist suspect in Guantanamo?   Nope.  A wanted drugdealer or gangster?  Nope.  This is the story of an Icelandic Christmas shopper.  Read the rest, it’s literally unbelievable and speaks to the kind of beaurocratic monster with created with Homeland Security.  Much like the War on Drugs, it is a system that will eat us alive if we let it.
